A monthly report for the month of April 2026
Introduction:
Link Hands Uganda actively fulfills its vision every single day through hands-on community ministry. Our core objective is to serve the needy families of Jinja by balancing physical relief with spiritual truth. We achieve this through evangelism, medical care, child sponsorships, agricultural training, small business support, environmental care, and clean water initiatives.
Through these efforts, the Lord is bringing hope to the hopeless and saving the lost. At the Nalufenya Children’s Home, the parents of recovering, malnourished children constantly praise the name of Jesus. Hearts are changing in the villages too; in Butiki, an elderly former Muslim widow named Malijani recently embraced Christ. We rejoice as the Lord faithfully expands His kingdom day by day.
Activities of the month. 1. Nalufenya Malnutrition Ward.
Children's lives were at risk this month as the Malnutrition Ward completely ran out of treatment supplies. Desperate for help, the ward management made urgent phone calls to Link Hands Uganda. We stepped in immediately, delivering the monthly support for making solvents that they desperately needed.
The hospital team was overjoyed. Dr. Kizito shared, "Since USAID was cut off, we hardly receive any donations. Thank you, Link Hands Uganda, for standing with us for so long. Your generosity is deeply felt." Hearing this, it fuels our passion to serve. We thank the Lord for choosing us to be His hands and feet during such critical times.
2. Co-curricular activities at the Seminary.
The students at the Lutheran Theological College of Uganda are deeply committed to preparing for their future pastoral ministry. Alongside their rigorous theological studies, they engage in co-curricular activities and sports to keep their minds and bodies refreshed.
Recognizing this need, student leader Joshua Ochen reached out to Link Hands Uganda for support. In response, we delivered football goals, footballs, volleyball nets, volleyballs, and chess sets. The seminary administration was thrilled, and one student beautifully noted, "A pastor needs to refresh his mind and stay healthy." We are blessed to support these future leaders and pray that the Lord keeps them faithful to His Word.
3. Computer for Brenda.
Brenda is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in public administration, aiming to work in government and advocate for girls' education. She stands out as one of the most exceptional young women Link Hands Uganda has supported since 2020, and the organization plans to recruit her as a staff member in the future.
To excel in her studies, which require extensive research and writing, Brenda urgently needs a computer. Link Hands Uganda has placed an order for a refurbished laptop at Pacific Computers in Jinja. While the delivery is pending, Brenda is already filled with joy and anticipation. As the African proverb says, "When you educate a girl, you educate the entire village." Thank you for investing in her bright future.
4. Plastic Chairs in Amudat Church.
Imagine a church with a vibrant, faithful congregation, but only five chairs to sit on. This is the reality in the Amudat district, a region 320 kilometers from Jinja, where communities face extreme poverty and live without necessities like clean water, soap, clothing, and safe shelter.
During a recent visit, Rev. Benard Mwesigwa saw this need firsthand. Moving quickly to help, Link Hands promised the church 15 new plastic chairs. The very next Sunday, Rev. Benjamin Lochepe delivered them, bringing immense joy to these resilient believers. The hardships in Amudat are severe, which is why we are committed to returning for future field trips to bring more hope and critical aid.
Accountability of the month.

Conclusion:
We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Anders and Mama Ingela for their faithful monthly support. Your generosity continuously reaches the most vulnerable communities in Uganda while actively advancing the Word of God. This past month brought unexpected challenges and powerful learning experiences, reminding us of the vital nature of this ministry. As we look ahead to next month, we remain eager to see how the Lord will continue to use this ministry to transform lives.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
