Introduction
Link Hands Organization is growing and gaining confidence from both the needy people and the government due to its activities that are focused on helping the poor and destitute people in Eastern Uganda. The Organization that changed their name from Link Hands Uganda to Link Hands Organization continues to sow seeds of hope, love, and faith through spreading the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In this month of June, LHO has a few activities that aimed at restoring, and providing for the needy and sickly children. According to statistics, Uganda has the second highest mortality rate and this calls for a joint effort to improve on the healthcare national wide.
Activities of the month.
The month of June had only three activities carried out and these are seen below: 1. Local Orphanage:

The Link Hands team delivered two boxes of clothes to the local orphanage in Butitki village. This orphanage is run by Mr. Muzungu Noah who ensures that the children get proper education and are in school and they have good shelter and all the basic needs. The children are molded in a Christian manner where prayer is compulsory every Wednesday evening and every Sunday morning. The management of the orphanage is happy for this kind of support that is rendered to them.
2. Nalufenya Malnutrition ward:
Link Hands Organization continues every month to support the malnutrition ward with supplies that make nutritious solvents that are given to the children. We are proud to partner with this Nalufenya children’s hospital for the great cause of restoring lives and giving hope and happiness to the children and their parents.
3. Naibinga Shivan:

Shivan is a 13-year-old girl in Idudi village, Bugweri district towards the boarder of Uganda and Kenya. She has cerebral palsy, disabled, and she is imbecile. She stays with a single mother, and she is the second born of a family of 4 children. Shivan’s father deserted the family after Shivan was born because according to him, he cannot be a father of a disabled child and it is not in his family lineage. Shivan’s mother struggles to take good care of her and her siblings yet she only depends on subsistence farming. Link Hands came to know Shivan through Meddy Nkulega a good friend of the LHO team. We unanimously agreed to reach out to Shivan with a modern wheelchair that has a potty and comfortable. When the team delivered the wheelchair, Shivan’s mother said, “What a blessing. For so many years I have been praying and looking for money to buy a wheelchair for my daughter but all in vain. I think God has his own plans! I am so happy and filled with joy. See Shivan is also smiling and singing meaning she is extremely happy.” We were so touched to see where the home situation wasn’t good at all, and we plan to continue to support them even though they are very far from Jinja.
